Canva is an amazing design tool that allows users to create stunning visuals for a variety of purposes. While it offers a plethora of features, inserting a table could be a bit tricky if you’re new to the platform. This blog post will guide you through the step-by-step process on how to insert and customize a table in Canva.
Step 1: Open Your Canva Dashboard
Start by logging into your Canva account. Once you’re in, you’ll be greeted by your dashboard where you can see your designs.
Step 2: Select a Design
Pick an existing design where you want to add a table, or create a new design by clicking on the Create a design button at the top right corner of your dashboard.
Step 3: Open the Elements Tab
On the left side of the screen, you will see a sidebar with different options such as Templates, Elements, and Text. Click on Elements.
Step 4: Search for Tables
In the search box on the Elements page, type ‘tables’ and hit Enter. You will see a variety of table options appear.
Step 5: Add and Customize Your Table
Select a table and it will automatically be added to your canvas. You can then customize your table according to your needs. You can change the size, color, text, and even add a border if necessary.
Step 6: Save Your Design
Once you’re done customizing your table, don’t forget to save your design. You can do this by clicking on the Download button at the top right corner of the screen. You can choose the file type you want (JPG, PNG, PDF, etc.) before saving.

Note: Unfortunately, as of the moment, Canva doesn’t provide an option for creating a multicolored or multi-row table. A workaround for this is to create individual text boxes and align them on your canvas to simulate the look of a table.
