What You’ll Need
- A Netflix subscription
- A Discord account
- Google Chrome
Steps to Stream Netflix on Discord Google Chrome
Step 1: Setup
First off, make sure you’ve got Discord and Google Chrome installed on your PC. If not, download and install them.
Step 2: Open Discord
Launch Discord and navigate to the server where you want to stream the Netflix content.
Step 3: Start a Voice Channel
Click on the voice channel where you want to stream. If you do not have one, you can create it by clicking on the ‘+’ button near Voice Channels.
Step 4: Share Your Screen
Once you’re in the voice channel, click on ‘Screen‘ located at the bottom left of the Discord window. A ‘Share Your Screen’ pop-up will appear.
Step 5: Share Google Chrome Window
In the ‘Share Your Screen’ pop-up, select the application window of Google Chrome. Then, click on ‘Go Live‘.
Step 6: Play Netflix Content
Now, navigate to Netflix on your Google Chrome and start playing your favorite movie or series. It will appear on your Discord stream.
Please note, however, that due to DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection, some users might experience a black screen while trying to stream Netflix on Discord. Here’s a simple workaround: instead of sharing the application window, try sharing the entire screen.
