Canva is a highly accessible platform that enables users of all levels to produce top-notch graphic designs. Whether you’re an experienced designer or just starting out, you can effortlessly navigate the platform and generate impressive visual compositions with text elements. In this tutorial, we will provide a step-by-step guide on adjusting text color in Canva.
Step 1: Create or Open a Design
The first thing to do is to create a new design or open an existing one from your Canva dashboard. You can choose from a variety of templates or create a custom design by clicking on the Create a design button.
Step 2: Add Text to Your Design
Next, click on the Text tab on the left-hand side of your canvas. You will see a number of pre-made text graphics, as well as basic text boxes. Click on the one you want to use, and it will appear on your canvas. You can then type your desired text.
Step 3: Select Your Text
Click on the text box to select your text. Once selected, a text editing toolbar will appear at the top of your screen. From here, you can adjust the font, size, alignment, and – most importantly for this tutorial – color of your text.
Step 4: Change Color of Your Text
To change the color of your text, click on the colored square on the toolbar. A color picker will appear, showing a wide range of colors. Simply click on the color you want to apply to your text.
Click on the text box -> Text Editing Toolbar Appears -> Click on Colored Square (Text Color Button) -> Color Picker Appears -> Select Desired Color
Note: You can also enter the hex code of a specific color if you have one in mind.
Step 5: Save Your Design
Once you’re satisfied with your text color and design, click on the Download button at the top right-hand corner of the screen. You can then save your design in your desired format.
Changing text color in Canva is as simple as that! With just a few clicks, you can make your text stand out and add an extra layer of visual interest to your designs. Happy designing!
