Instagram is an excellent platform for sharing photos and videos. However, despite its vast popularity, the platform does not provide a direct option for users to download images. However, worry not! In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to download images from Instagram using third-party tools and web browsers.
Downloading Images using Web Browsers
One of the simplest ways to download images from Instagram is by using a web browser. Here, we’ll use Google Chrome as an example.
Step 1: Navigate to the Instagram photo that you want to download.
Step 2: Right-click on the photo and select “Inspect” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: This will open up the Developer Tools. Look for the “Resources” tab, and click on it.
Step 4: On the left-hand side, you will see a folder named “Frames”. Click on it, then look for a subfolder that starts with “instagram”. Expand it, then click on the “Images” subfolder.
Step 5: You will now see a list of all the images that are currently loaded on the page. Look for the image that you want to download, then right-click on it and select “Open in New Tab”.
Step 6: The image will open in a new tab. You can now right-click on it and select “Save Image As” to download it to your computer.
Using Third-Party Tools
Another way to download images from Instagram is by using third-party tools. One such tool is DownloadGram.

Step 2: Head over to DownloadGram’s website, paste the URL into the text box, and hit “Download”.
