Embedding YouTube Videos

Embedding a YouTube video into your Google Slides is a breeze. Here are the steps:

  1. Open the slide you want to embed the video into.
  2. Click on Insert on the menu, then select Video.
  3. A dialog will pop up with options to search for a video, use a YouTube URL, or use a Google Drive video. Paste the URL of your YouTube video in the second field.
  4. Click on the Select button, and voila, the video will be embedded into your slide.

Embedding Charts

Presenting data visually can be more impactful. Google Slides allows you to embed charts quickly. Here is how:

  1. Click on Insert, then choose Chart from the drop-down menu.
  2. Select the type of chart you wish to insert.
  3. A default chart will appear on your slide. To customize the data, click on the Linked Chart Options button, then select Open Source.
  4. This will open up a Google Sheets window where you can input your data. Once done, the chart on your slide will automatically update with your data.

Embedding Google Forms

  1. Open the Google Form you’d like to embed, click on the Send button.
  2. In the Send Form dialog that comes up, click on the <> icon to get the embed code.
  3. Copy the embed code.
  4. Switch back to your Google Slide, click Insert, then Text box.
  5. Once you have your text box, you’ll need to replace the dummy text with the embed code. Type the following:
