In the cell where you want the truncated number to appear, type =TRUNC( followed by the cell number that contains the number you want to truncate and the number of decimal places you want. Then, close the parenthesis.

        =TRUNC(A1, 2)

In this example, A1 is the cell with the number you want to truncate, and 2 is the number of decimal places you want.
