Due to the rise of remote work and online learning, the use of digital tools to communicate, collaborate, and exchange ideas has become essential. Among these tools, Canva and Zoom have significantly impacted how we operate in this virtual setting. With Canva, you can effortlessly produce visually appealing content, while Zoom facilitates seamless real-time communication and collaboration. Together, these tools offer a robust platform for showcasing and sharing your ideas with a global audience.
In this blog post, we will guide you on how to present your Canva creations in a Zoom meeting.
Step 1: Create Your Presentation on Canva
Before you can present anything on Zoom, you need to create your presentation. Canva provides an intuitive drag-and-drop interface coupled with a vast library of templates to help you create visually stunning presentations.
Step 2: Open Your Zoom Meeting
Once your Canva presentation is ready, it’s time to go live on Zoom. Start or join a Zoom meeting where you wish to present your Canva creation.
Step 3: Share Your Screen
In your Zoom meeting, click on the “Share Screen” button at the bottom of the Zoom window. This will open a new dialog box displaying all the applications and tabs currently open on your computer.
Step 4: Select Your Canva Presentation
Among the options displayed, select the browser tab where your Canva presentation is open. If you wish, you can also share your entire screen, but this will also display any other applications and tabs you have open.
Step 5: Present Your Canva Creation
With your Canva creation now being shared on Zoom, you can present it just like you would in a face-to-face meeting. Use the control bar at the top of the Zoom window to navigate through your presentation. You can also use the “Annotate” tool in the Zoom control bar to highlight or mark certain areas of your presentation.
That’s it! You’re now ready to present your Canva creations in a Zoom meeting. Remember, practice makes perfect. The more you use these tools, the more comfortable you will become. Good luck, and happy presenting!
